REMINDER
The file grain number (80, 100, 180, 240, etc.) indicates the number of grains per square centimeter on the surface of the file. The higher the number, the more grains there are, and therefore the smaller they are. Conversely, the smaller the number, the fewer the grains on the surface of the file, and therefore the larger the grains.
In other words, the higher the number, the softer the file. An 80-grit file will therefore be more abrasive than a 180-grit file, for example.
