SUPRASHINE - FINISHING GEL
Discover a supra-shine, long-lasting finishing gel that'sultra-easy to apply! The formulation of our SUPRASHINE finishing gel combines several advantages:
- No residue: after catalysis, there's no need to degrease
- Extreme shine after 60s of catalysis*
- Long-lasting hold, even after 4 weeks
- Anti-scratch and anti-yellowing, to protect and preserve the appearance of all your poses, from the darkest to the lightest!
- Can be used on all types of poses (Gel, VSP, Resin and Acrygel).
SUPRASHINE can also be used to apply all Lollipop, Pigment, Siren, Chrome, Pearl and other effects...
PROTOCOL OF USE
The semi-fluid texture of ourSUPRASHINE finishing gel requires a very specific application protocol. To obtain the desired result and enjoy all the benefits of this finish, it is essential to follow the protocol below:
- Before applyingSUPRASHINE finishing gel
- If your color is WITH residue: using a completely dry Master Wipes, remove any excess sticky residue
- If your color is WITHOUT residue: roughen the surface with Smooth File Grey, then dust off
- ApplySUPRASHINE finishing gel in a thin layer, 2mm from the cuticle
- Finish at cuticle level with a liner
- Smooth the surface with the same liner if necessary, then catalyze.
TIPS
When using a semi-fluid texture finish, it is important to follow the above protocol and apply your finish in a thin coat. Why should you do this?
Because applying too much semi-fluid gel finish willthicken your nail bed, spoiling the aesthetic harmony! To avoid this, simplyapply your finish as directed, i.e. in a thin, well-stretched layer.
SUPRASHINE's special texture allows you to stretch its surface effortlessly: don't miss out!
CAUTION
Semi-fluid finishes are temperature- andbubble-sensitive materials.
Your bottles must be kept at a reasonable room temperature. Too low/high a temperature will thicken/liquefy the texture of your finish.
When removing or "reloading" the brush applicator for your finish, you must tilt the bottle on its side and then gently remove the brush applicator , rather than using a rapid up-and-down "pumping" motion!
This pumping motion is to be avoided in your technical gestures, as it is the best way to permanently bubble up your finish!
So why does my SUPRASHINE finish bubble and not the others?
It has nothing to do with the quality of the product: these bubbles are the result of a mechanical action by the technician (pump effect) in a dense material (semi-fluid texture). Explanations:
Semi-fluid textures capture air bubbles more easily than fluid (less dense) textures. Air bubbles are trapped in the material, as the density of the finish prevents them from rising to the surface on their own.
In this way, the more you pump, the more bubbles will be trapped in your finish. This also happens in some gels with similar densities, which is why stirring a construction gel is also to be avoided!
I've bubbled my finish, what should I do?
If you've unfortunately bubbled your finish, don't panic: it still retains all its properties (catalyzation/gloss)! So you can still use your finish, even if it's bubbled.
All you need to do is remove the air bubbles that will inevitably be transferred from the bottle to the nail before catalysis. To do this, you'll need a liner to push the bubbles out.
If you're more comfortable with a fluid finish or like to work in ultra-thin layers, we recommend our Evolution Gloss Finishing Gel .
